Sibling Distillery is throwing open the doors of its new premises with some new gin tours. In a two-hour visit, guests get to taste gin and discover how it is made at the distillery at Dowdeswell Park, Charlton Kings. Non-drinkers and drivers are catered for too with soft drinks and spittoons.
The next open date is May 27, while private tours can be arranged on request. The £25 per head tours became possible after the four siblings running the gin company – Felix, Clarice, Cicely and Digby Elliott-Berry – moved from a corner of their dad’s brewery in Cheltenham to their own premises.
Director Clarice said: “Getting the new premises was a huge deal for us and opens up big opportunities. Not only can we triple our production, we can also do a lot to get our name – and our gin – out there.
“We’re really proud of Sibling Gin and it’s a pleasure to share our enthusiasm with others.”
The four, aged 18 to 25, are now producing 1,600 bottles of Sibling Gin per month and are set to triple production by the end of 2017.
They believe they are the youngest distilling team in the world. With several awards already under their belt, they are one of the few companies to distil their gin from start to finish and manufacture their alcohol from scratch. Sibling Gin is on sale in quality outlets such as Harvey Nichols and Fortnum and Mason in London as well as chains like Majestic Wine.
