Taking place in June ahead of Glastonbury, attending the Isle Of Wight Festival is the perfect way to officially kick start the summer! Headlining the festival this year will be international dance juggernaut David Guetta, seminal hip-hop trio Run DMC, British rock icon Rod Stewart and indie giants Arcade Fire, playing their only UK festival performance of the summer.
The inclusion of everyone from legendary throwback acts like The Pretenders and Alison Moyet to hotly-tipped up-and-comers such as Zara Larsson, The Amazons and Rag ‘N’ Bone Man means that there is truly something for everyone on the bill.
The Isle of Wight can feel like a world away, yet it’s close to home. Hop on the ferry at either Southampton or Portsmouth and it’s just over a 20-minute boat ride away. It takes just around 1 hour 30 mins to Portsmouth from London by train, and even less time to Southampton! There’s a wide range of camping options available on site. If just rocking up with a tent isn’t your bag, there’s a wide range of boutique camping options available. Yurts, tipis, podpads and snooze boxes, there’s more than enough options to ensure you’re comfortable!
